What happens if my date changes? Do I lose my deposit?

If your date changes or get's postponed for whatever reason let our team know and we can move the date for you FREE of charge or we'll wait until you do. Only a cancellation within 3 working days will result in a charge as we need to pay the team assigned to your move.

What happens if there is a delay with the completion on moving day? Am I charged extra?

When you book your move with Crisscross Removals we offer a FIXED PRICE GUARANTEE so you don't need to worry about additional charges if there are a few small delays on moving day. Our team of dedicated movers will work until the job is complete or we will come back the next day and finish offloading 😁

**Note - this does not apply if your completion falls through on the day and we need to take your belongings to emergency storage and re-deliver at a later date.

I have other quotes which are less expensive but there are optional extra costs for everything you include as part of your overall price. Can you explain this? It's very confusing....

Absolutely. Our price may seem like a higher up front cost at a first glance. What we include is your removal service + many extras such as packing materials + delivery (if in greater Belfast area), full furniture dismantling and re-assembling, equipment hire and a fixed price guarantee. For these extras mentioned many companies add them in as an option for you and often can result in hefty additional charges on the day if they are required at the last minute.

During our initial video quote/in person quote we give the property + your moving scenario an assessment to make sure we can prepare for any problems in advance without charging any extra. Your moving consultant can explain this in further detail on the quote!

How much is the deposit? And when do we need to pay the final bill?

We require a 25% deposit to secure a date and the remainder is payable the day before the actual move. Remember if your moving date changes we will move it for free so you don't need to worry about losing the deposit.

When can I expect my packing materials to be delivered?

As son as your deposit is paid to secure your moving date we will scheduled in your materials for delivery. This can typically be anywhere within 3-5 working days but much sooner in many cases!
